Hello I'm Lindsey

Hello I'm Lindsey

For many years I practiced as Recovery Nutrition, where I had the honour of supporting 100s of people to change their lives. I focused mainly on nutritional interventions because nutrition is so foundational to healing.

As my own recovery* progressed, I studied other modalities that have supported my own journey. The name Recovery Nutrition no longer covered everything I offer to clients, hence the name ‘Unaddicted’.

And why ‘unaddicted’? Because I finally feel ‘unaddicted’! I am craving-free, and have shifted the behavioural addictions that replaced my substance addictions.

The sense of freedom is immense, and it inspires me to guide others to their own place of liberation.

Change is possible. I know, because I live it.

My approach is a combination of science and heart-led insight to the human condition. I help you to go beyond your presenting symptoms, seeing them as part of a whole rather than isolated things to mend.

Whether you are struggling with mood and energy levels; or the guilt and shame of an unwanted behaviour; or a desire to release an old habit that keeps you locked in, I offer understanding, insight and practical know-how.

All my offerings - 1:1s, workshops, yoga classes and retreats - provide a space where you can find peace within yourself.

I don't have all the answers, but I can help lay the groundwork by supporting you to reduce self-damaging substances and behaviours, and nourish yourself well through food, movement and breath. I open up space to have meaningful discussions with humour, kindness and absolutely no judgement.

* I quit drinking in 2015, after a long-term alcohol addiction. I quit nicotine a couple of years later (heavy smoker turned nicotine gum & lozenge fiend). I struggled with binge-eating intermittently throughout my life.

I help you to

Understand

Understand how symptoms of fatigue, anxiety, headaches, hormonal imbalances, brain fog, poor gut health, chronic pain, cravings and weight gain / loss can be linked to repetitive and addictive patterns of behaviour.

Recognise

Recognise why you do the things you do. Stress (including past trauma), genetics, environment, lifestyle, and nutrient deficiencies all have a role to play. This is an empowering approach that invites gentle self-compassion.

Unlock

Unlock your own healing abilities and set you on a path that will bring about enormous transformation, one with you at the helm, feeling empowered, charged and capable to move your life forward.
